What Happens When Ordinary People Choose Courage?
Have you ever considered what happens when ordinary people choose to love and obey God? This week, Karl Romeus takes a look into what happens when ordinary people take on extraordinary roles by choosing to obey God's plan for their lives. Derek Redmond’s story from the 1992 Olympics gives us a glimpse into unexpected heroism. But what if we extended this love and compassion beyond our immediate family to strangers and even enemies? The transformation of Saul to Paul in Acts Chapter 9 is a powerful example of how an ordinary man, Ananias, played a crucial role in God’s plan. Paul’s journey from a persecutor to an apostle shows that God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. By em...

Have you ever felt an empty hole in your heart that nothing seemed to fill? Keri’s story is a powerful testimony of walking away from faith at a young age, only to return after years of feeling lost and broken. Despite accepting Christ at age 12, she drifted away in middle school and lived without a true relationship with God for 15 years. Moving to Colorado and facing a divorce, Keri sought co...

Ever felt like you’re on the outside? What if that's exactly where Jesus wants you? This week, Ben Foote takes a deep dive into Acts 8 and talks about how early Christians found common ground with those vastly different from them. Despite deep cultural divides, they connected with others through a shared hunger for healing. Learn how we can bridge our modern divides by understanding our own bro...

Holy Spirit led me to this message today and my soul is crying out in joy. It started with a click on a FB video but my hunger for His word led me here to RUclips. Thank you for your obedience in delivering His word, and how you intertwine your human experience to help us understand what living it out looks like, practically. ❤
I have a church home here... I watch from Ala. Because my daughter and her husband.. and their children attend there for 5 years now.. They share with me because you have ministered to their hearts and lives, being truly fed and so inspired by Pastors honesty and his humility! Sharing his journey and walk. We are loving the deeper study in the word! Ty❤
Amen 🙏 Good service Carl!!
❤❤❤

Call everyone broken then tell them you have the only cure. Does the term "Snake Oil Salesmen" get through to you at all?
Amen
Vokal you, vokal chester
Good vokal you
That's not what we do as a marketers. We help people find the things they want to buy. You need to buy things. You need a car with decent gas milage. You need a home for your family that was built with excellent safety standards. I'm not sure insulting people is really a good thing to put in your sermon. What an asshole.
Amen, Solid Message 💪🏼🦁🔥✝️🔥🕊️
Good Morning from Sioux Falls, SD
When Jesus is not white!
Come ON Ben SO GOOD!!!!!!! 👏🏼😭 I’d add finding common ground and building bridges and relationships within the Church too because we could all be a lot more united and better at loving one another within the four walls. Honestly it should start there like if we can’t even love our own well then how are we going to love the outsiders. I’m personally beyond excited 👏🏼🤩 for what God is doing in the hearts of everyone plugged in at Flatiron’s 👏🏼❤️🔥❤️🔥🕊️
I love this bridge helps I run a company I will wash feet to love
SE Kansas
What in the mega church is going on?!?!?
Stay golden ponyboy - the outsiders
This sermon hit hard as t first I wasn't sure and shut it off half way through, then I listened all the way through and it helped me understand what the message was, I was overly judgmental and I realize more and more how broken I am and need GOD to help me be the man he created me to be
I’ve never ever heard a pastor encourage his congregation to take a break from serving! I’m blown away. Thank you Jim for sharing the truth of God’s word and not pushing guilt upon others to get involved with more projects that advance the goals of the church but is in violation of true service to our Father. Such an unexpected but wonderfully refreshing sermon
The only true Christian leader is God. The rest of us are just parts of a body. In a worldly point of view we have leaders.
I'll give this sermon a chance, but comparing the principles of the Duttons to Christians? They murdered people regularly and basically worshipped the ranch. Entertaining series, but hardly one to hold as an example of godly living.
Thank you Pastor Jesse!
Is it ok if you have a gold plated toilet? (Asking for a friend).
This pastor needs to read Galatians 1:8 false teachings
He definitely knows Galatians 1:8 for sure but what specifically did he say that makes you compelled to call him a False Teacher”? Genuinely curious 🧐 your reasoning here? I personally would not have asked “what can only you do?” because Jesus Teaches “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 NASB So maybe I would have said “What can Christ alone do through YOU (not as His Leaders) but rather as His Child-Like, Meek & Humble Surrendered Servants?” but that’s just my 0.02¢ I’ve never heard anyone try to call Jesse a False Teacher 🤯 Definitely a big stretch as Flatiron’s just sticks to the Bible
Amen, I can submit to God's will in my life and let Him lead instead of my selfishness
Amen, I agree 👏🏼🤩 We definitely need more humility (less rank) and more meek servants hearts in the Church ✝️ Putting everyone ahead of ourselves. Truly dying to ourselves to live selflessly for others; even our very own enemies. Easier said than done obviously. I always ponder 💭 the Words of Christ wondering if there is really even supposed to be a such thing as “Christian Leaders” because Jesus taught in Matthew 23:10-12 “Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.” Or Jesus teaching again go read Luke 22:24-27 or Jesus in Matthew 18:1-6 It’s pretty pathetic, and sad, yet hilarious, that the Disciples were constantly grilling Jesus “who is going to be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven”. Even right after the Last Supper they took the first Sacred and Holy Communion together then of course what’s the first thing the Disciples start debating, arguing and quarreling about? Who is going to be the Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus?” It’s honestly SO SAD!! To me not much has changed in the Churches today as so many of the biggest “Leaders” in Worship and or Pastoral Offices in the Churches in America today actually have some of the biggest egos and are seemingly some most stand-offish or just un-reachable people in the entire Body of Christ! I am most definitely NOT suggesting anyone from Flatiron’s not at all but rather look what recently came to light at IHOPKC!! Point is I think we can all agree that Jesus makes it really very clear over and over again that many of the First will become Last and many of the Last will become First, and if we really want to be Perfect or Great in the Kingdom of Heaven we must humble ourselves and become like little children. Lowering ourselves and devoting ourselves to becoming Servants of what society looks at as the lowliest; and yes even our very own enemies. I think we all might be a bit surprised when we get to Heaven like “WOW those Janitors or the Parking Lot Attendants actually have bigger mansions and treasures stored up in Heaven than some of the Church Staffers, Pastors or Worship Team” 👏🏼🤯 It could happen honestly it’s all about the conditions of our hearts and the pureness of our motives and intentions. I’m not saying I’ve personally got any of that dialed; not even close. I’m more saying when I read the Word’s of Christ and study Jesus’s Teaching’s, I think 🤔 to myself “UT OH spaghettio, so many of us think we are so righteous when really, some of us, might be high on ourselves and full of self-righteousness” possibly myself very much included. So “HELP. US. LORD. JESUS!!!! Help us all to see more clearly. Help us to actually treat others as BETTER and MORE IMPORTANT than OURSELVES!!!!” 🙇🏼♂️✝️🙇🏼♀️
I mean I’m not a huge fan of the thumbnail… 😂
While I love some of the covers y’all do, this ain’t it. Musicianship is phenomenal, but I wouldn’t play a song about Beelzebub in church. I suppose yall will do Mary On A Cross soon too?
Why are they playing worldly music at a church?
Beautiful
Amen 🙏
Okay, I think the point here is that beyond Christian and Biblical truths, other aspects of a particular culture need not be embraced. Jesus does not care where you came from, how you dressed, your preference in music, etc. Christianity was born in the Middle East. Jesus spoke Aramaic. The Ethiopian Bible predates Christianity in Europe. However, there are aspects of some cultures that would have to change in order to embrace Christianity. That’s just true. Some cultures embrace anti-Christian belief structures that would have to change. There is missing context here. This short video makes an implication that someone can do Christianity “their way”. That is not true- it’s all Jesus’ way.

Hallelujah Hallelujah, Holy Holy Holy is Our Almighty God , God of all good, I give You all the Glory in Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen ✝️✝️✝️🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜

Hallelujah!!! I’m the favorite, $60,000 every week! Now I can afford anything and also support the work of God and the church.
Oh really? Tell me more!
This is what Ana Graciela Blackwelder does, she has changed my life.
After raising up to 60k trading with her, I bought a new house and car here in the US and also paid for my son’s (Oscar) surgery. Glory to God.shalom.
I know Ana Graciela Blackwelder, and I have also had success...
Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Ana Graciela Blackwelder.
A classic, from my youth. Well done! Bravo.
Love from Venice, FL! I will invite.❤
So where is part 3? And the others?!
It would be nice when there is more than one video to a sermon or series, if you would link the other videos to each one! This says week 4. Where are the others?
Amen! Good for you for making a stand for The Lord!
I do think that Jesse was very clear about the husband of the woman who advocated her to kill her baby or he would leave her. I am glad that Flatirons advocates men be real men of integrity and in my opinion, his comments were absolutely appropriate. Encouraging her to do the right thing and trust God through it all was good advice. Fasting and praying for her husband by her and by a circle of spiritually strong men to break the demonic stronghold that was on her husband to even demand such a thing was hopefully done, too. At the end of the day, because of many factors that influenced her, she chose poorly. Healing is there for her, through the love and forgiveness of the Savior and the loving kindness of the dear people at Flatirons. No way would she be cast aside. This is where she needed all the support that she could get and it sounds like Flatirons was there for her.
The one thing that I love about Flatirons is that they have always been Biblically solid when sharing the love of Jesus and the hope and new life that He offers through His sacrifice, as opposed to many denominations within Chistiandom who are becoming apostate, propogating the message of unity to bring us all together regardless of fundamental doctrinal differences, succumbing to the cultural norms, adopting being politically correct, all under the guise of loving one another. This sermon was the first time that I felt clarification was needed. When the statement is made that maybe we need to sacrifice our ideology, which means our doctrines and beliefs, what doctrines and beliefs should we sacrifice?Jesse was probably referring to beliefs outside of fundamental Biblical beliefs, but when the apostate church is advocating a similar message, clarification is imperative. Also, Jesse stated that he believes Jesus stood up for Steven because he stood up for the outsiders?? Steven was stoned because he was in their face with the truth to the religious leaders. First he recounted the history of the Jewish nation and how God interacted with his people, beginning with Abraham, Joseph, Moses, right up to the temple built by Solomon. He then transitioned to sharing how God no longer dwells in houses, but in people's hearts, through the power of the Holy Spirit because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, God's Son. He called them stiffnecked, pointing out their sin, the sin of betraying and murdering the Righteous One, the Messiah who was foretold to come. It was not because he was standing up for the sinners and outsiders of his day. I agree that we must do that, but where is that message in this text? We must emulate the Savior in deep love and have open arms ...come all you who are burdened and I will give you rest...come as you are, but for God's sake, don't stay that way. This is the message of Flatirons. I believe that is the premise that Jesse is coming from, but unfortunately, in light of our present culture and the approach of the apostate church, clarity is probably a good idea. Blessings!
I’m watching from Nevada. Visited the Longmont campus 2 weeks ago while I was in Colorado for my sister’s funeral I live in the middle of nowhere so this the next best thing.
Thank you Pastor Jesse! We watch Flatirons every week from Woodburn, Oregon.
